A DIY Palette (That Won’t Break the Bank!)

Welcome to the last day of gifting. We made it, I completed blogging everyday for 12 days straight and I think that is a pretty good score, especially for someone drowning in uni deadlines. Today’s post is short one, but is all about Makeup Obsession’s DIY palettes, which are crazily inexpensive.

Makeup Obsession Palette

Makeup Obsession are a brand that allow you customise your own palette exactly to your own taste, in fact I’ve written, in depth, about my palette a couple of times now – you can see swatches etc here. It’s another short post simply letting you know that if you’re stuck for a gift for a makeup lover or even someone just starting out in makeup – I would recommend this. When my cousin is old enough I will be making her one of these palettes, so she can play with colour without spending loads. The palettes start at £4 and then the inserts start from £2. You can fill your palette with eye shadows, brow powders, lipsticks, highlighters, bronzers and even cream products. It really is the easiest way to try out colours you wouldn’t ordinarily.

This was again a short post, I have linked to more in depth post I have previously written as I decided that this series would focus more on ideas rather than increasingly long reviews – especially on products I have already written about. As it is the final day I thought I would link you to the last 11 posts in case you missed them:

  1. Magnitone Gift Guide and Giveaway
  2. The New RealTechniques Powder Bleu Brushes
  3. Charlotte Tilbury Lip Charms
  4. Bio-Essence Skincare
  5. Christmas at Lush
  6. Wonderland Makeup
  7. Superdrug Stocking Stuffers
  8. Little But Lovely Beauty Gifts
  9. A Clarins Lip Set
  10. DIY Beauty Box
  11. Charlotte Tilbury Lip Archive
  12. Makeup Obsession Palette

There will now be a slight pause in posts while I enjoy Christmas with my family and recover from uni and daily posting – expect the next post to be nearer New Year or maybe even next year. Have a very Merry Christmas, and I hope I helped your Christmas present buying in some shape or form!

Congrats on the 12 days of giftmas!! This palette sounds brilliant – I don't own any palettes that I've created myself!xxLucy | http://www.lucy-cole.co.uk
